Powered by advanced biologics, Imio Root’s robust, proprietary formula of beneficial microbes and fungi (all sustainably grown in Vermont) outperforms synthetic cloning products and produces healthier, cleaner, stress-free clones. Our Large Cloning Kit includes a 2 ounce package of Imio Root Cloning Gel, 6 quarts of Gardener’s Organic Seed Starting Mix, and our Gardener's Best® XL Seed Starting Kit, with 12 extra-large cells of root-boosting, self-watering seed growing space. While you can try your luck cloning a wide variety of plants, most growers find great success with roses, hydrangeas, tomatoes, hemp, and herbs like basil, mint, and sage.

To use cloning gel, add water directly to the pouch, shake to mix, then wait at least 4 hours to allow microbes to activate and the mixture to become a gel. To treat cuttings, dip the cut end of the plant into the gel, swirl for 3-5 seconds, then place directly into the Seed Starting Mix in your prepped XL Seed Starting Trays. Mix leftover cloning gel with water to provide a liquid boost of biologics to your clones, as well as any other seedlings or transplants you’re growing. Specific instructions for storage, handling, and use of Imio Root Cloning Gel are included with product.

A Small Cloning Kit is also available, with everything you need to grow 4 clones at a time.
