Commercial Sales Lead
The primary responsibility of the Commercial Sales Lead is to increase sales of commercial goods and services by maintaining a deep knowledge of the products and working with the Commercial Manager to implement sales strategies to meet sales goals. This person will manage large commercial customer accounts and delivery service, including taking phone, email, and in-person orders; will manage the commercial delivery schedule; and will assist with commercial estimates and quotes as well as maintaining the commercial customer base and supporting commercial marketing efforts. Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 yrs sales/customer service experience in a green goods business; advanced horticultural knowledge; ability to stay organized, focused and calm in a fast-paced environment; experience supervising; and ability to use Internet search engine, email, Microsoft Word and Excel. Seasonal Delivery Team
The Seasonal Delivery Team at Gardener's Supply is a specialized group focused on efficiently and effectively managing the delivery of plant material during peak seasons, such as spring and summer. Comprising dedicated staff with knowledge of horticulture and customer service, the team coordinates the timely transportation of plant material to customers' homes or designated locations. They ensure that deliveries are handled with care to maintain the quality of plants and products. This team plays a crucial role in supporting the increased demand for garden-related items during peak seasons, contributing to the overall success and customer satisfaction of the garden center. Applicants must have a valid Vermont Driver’s License, a clean driving record, experience driving large trucks (CDL not required) and have excellent customer service skills. Seasonal Delivery and Installation Coordinator
The Delivery and Installation Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while organizing and executing complex tasks in a fast-paced sales environment. They will sell, coordinate, and schedule the delivery/installation of goods and services purchased via our website, by phone and in the garden center. They will provide effective coordination and communication between customers, subcontractors, internal partners, and delivery drivers to ensure that customers receive the correct products and services ordered in the timeframe promised. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of customer service experience; ability to use Google Calendar, Internet search engine, email, Microsoft Word, and Excel; intermediate plant and gardening knowledge; and have the ability to stay organized while juggling multiple priorities. Store Manager
We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to lead our Greenland Garden Center. As the ambassador for our brand, you will ensure an inspiring customer experience and uphold high standards for service, merchandising, and ambiance. This role involves overseeing all operations, achieving sales, profitability, and productivity goals, and managing store personnel. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of leadership and management experience, with a proven record of success in multi-departmental or multi-unit retail environments. A minimum of 4 years in direct customer service is required, with garden center or nursery experience strongly preferred. The role demands strong budgeting, team-building, and project management skills, along with advanced horticultural knowledge. Key responsibilities include developing and executing merchandising plans, overseeing talent acquisition, training, and performance management, and ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The Store Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, buying teams, and other store managers to achieve business goals. Applicants must be available to work weekends, flexible with shifts, including evenings, holidays, and seasonal overtime. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and handling physical tasks.
