Why don't they need water?
Waxed amaryllises don’t need water because the wax keeps in all the necessary nutrients and water the flower will ever need in the waxed bulb. 
Why are they coated in wax/velvet? Does this help protect them or is it simply for decor?

Can you replant them after they bloom?
